In these pre-pandemic times, the event was supposed to be held in Austin, Texas. However, in anticipation of the stay-at-home orders, quarantines, and so forth, Kelle wisely shifted this event to the online space.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none\" src=\"\/\/html5-player.libsyn.com\/embed\/episode\/id\/14372225\/height\/90\/theme\/custom\/thumbnail\/yes\/direction\/backward\/render-playlist\/no\/custom-color\/fa0406\/\" height=\"90\" width=\"100%\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"\" mozallowfullscreen=\"\" oallowfullscreen=\"\" msallowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So VBC 2020 became a virtual conference, and was executed as scheduled on April 2nd and 3rd. I had the pleasure of moderating the speakers' panel, and I thought it would be fun to share it with you here.<\/p>\n<p>This was indeed an august group, and featured Drs. Barbara Esch, Anna Petursdottir, Caio Miguel, Pat McGreevy, David Palmer, and Mark Sundberg.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18123\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/behavioralobservations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Screen-Shot-2020-04-02-at-5.30.47-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18123\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-18123\" src=\"https:\/\/behavioralobservations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Screen-Shot-2020-04-02-at-5.30.47-PM-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-18123\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">VBC 2020 Virtual Panel<\/p><\/div>\n<p>During the panel, we made some references to the speakers' earlier presentations. But don't worry, there's enough context in the Q and A, so I don't think you'll have a problem understanding what we're talking about. The one exception to this is that in Dr. Barbara Esch's presentation, she talked extensively about the book, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2zfuQjw\"><em>Enjoy Old Age: A Practical Guide<\/em><\/a>, by Skinner and Vaughn, and I asked her some questions about it, so if you hear a reference to \"the book,\" that's what we were talking about.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>I should also note that due to the video conferencing software, the audio - though listenable - is far from podcast quality.
