According to Pat, Father Flanagan often made the following statement when describing his philosophy of helping troubled youths: \"there is no such thing as a bad boy, only bad environments, bad modeling, and bad teaching.\"<\/p>\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none\" src=\"\/\/html5-player.libsyn.com\/embed\/episode\/id\/18865061\/height\/90\/theme\/custom\/thumbnail\/yes\/direction\/backward\/render-playlist\/no\/custom-color\/f90909\/\" height=\"90\" width=\"100%\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"\" webkitallowfullscreen=\"\" mozallowfullscreen=\"\" oallowfullscreen=\"\" msallowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n<p>For the Spring 2021 issue of the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Dr. Linda LeBlanc invited Pat to expand on these remarks in <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1002\/jaba.816\">the issue's lead paper<\/a>.
