In this event, Greg discusses his decision to leave Western New England, re-brand the IISCA to practical functional

assessment (PFA), as well as the BALANCE parent training protocol. Greg discusses how the PFA model also

embodies trauma-informed treatment by explaining the methodology he uses to assess and treat challenging

behavior. He also discusses his new consulting agency, FTF Behavioral Consulting, implementation strategies for

the PFA/SBT (skills-based training) and gives new practitioners tips on utilizing different technologies within the

field and navigating conflicting research. Greg also takes listener questions on applying the PFA/SBT across

different contexts and clients.
