Hi Folks, in today's episode I have a conversation with my good friend, Steve Lawyer. Steve and I met as first year graduate students at Auburn University way back in the day. Nowadays, he is the Director of Clinical Training at Idaho State University. In today's episode we have a fun conversation about Science and Pseudoscience, and the implications for ABA practice.
During the episode, Steve and I have some fun talking about what he refers to as his collection of pseudoscience "paraphernalia." Because a podcast is an audio format, I thought I would share the video of our Skype session for this part of the interview. The relevant part of the clip starts about 12 seconds in.
A few comments are in order: First, I didn't film half of my face on purpose. I was just trying to stay close to where my microphone was located. Second, I didn't know this at the time, but that distance between myself and the mic contributed to the disparity of volume between us. Fortunately, the audio quality on the actual podcast is better. As I have mentioned elsewhere, I'm learning about this stuff on the go, and I appreciate your ongoing patience.
I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did. I will try to get Steve back on the program to give us a primer on behavioral economics, which is a very fascinating topic.
